I love talking about social media and the revolution it has ignited in human communication. Helping individuals and organizations navigate this new landscape is my passion, and I relish the opportunity to be a digital ‘Sherpa’. Please contact me if I might be able to help you or your organization.
- Speaking: One of my favorite aspects of being a professor is the opportunity to speak to a large group and inspire them to see the potential (and occasionally the peril) in social media that I see. I’ve spoken to classrooms, professional groups, and consortiums (for an example, see below).
- Consulting: Whether it’s developing a strategy for using social media for promotion/engagement, or crafting policies to guide employees in this complex new environment (that increasingly blends personal and professional activity) – I have a wealth of experience I can bring to any organization.
- Customized Training: If you’re interested in learning one-on-one, I provide customized training in using social media – be it learning the tools and techniques for individual platforms or generating innovative ways the tools you already use can better meet your needs.
